From those outside photos it looked like it was a great success, good to see modelling is as strong as ever.
Very high standards of work on display. Was there a good mix of types, or is one subject more popular ?

I thought there was a good mix of type. Maybe aircraft dominated .But plenty of other stuff to see.I only model aircraft.But I was really impressed with a WW1 display of British soldiers called 'Going up the line'.Unfortunately the lighting in the hall where it was displayed was bad and didn't do it justice.Superb piece of work though. Hi Dave, there should be one showing an aerial balloon being prepared by many figures. I think its 1/72 scale.

John, nope...he wanted to travel light and brought his F-5 which isn't his best. He sent a pix of the balloon dio and I think I may have seen it before. It is set within a picture frame and painted in monochrome.

A long way to travel with models, taking one from one room to another is bad enough.

You have to see the Wingnut Wings Lancaster Barry. I think it looks even better than the Hong Kong Models kit

I did see some pictures. What is more I understand that they are producing the cockpit section alone as a stand alone kit so if you have no room for the full model you have an option to get a taster of the kit. Seems a good idea to me.

They were giving away a 36 page free sample of a magazine they are going to produce .First issue out end of this month. Lots of pics of the new Lancaster of course.
