The two figures I wanted to use have been finished. My heartfelt apologies to the figure painters.

Thank you. I guess we are our own worst critic but I am never happy with the faces, the uniforms are passable and hopefully getting better but I can't find the secret with the faces despite various books and videos on the subject. Thanks again for the compliment.

The figures come as a pair from Alpine each figure has a choice of heads so they are useful for the spares pot.

I would just like to point out that I don't consider myself a figure painter- I just like making them and painting is a necessary evil for me

I am the same. The figures for me are always an after thought used to set a scale, they are never good enough to be the centre of the story.
 
Paul it doesn't get much better than this, your modelling is as Neil says " I would be very happy if mine was as good as that. " :thumb2::thumb2::thumb2:
