I have been adding a bit of detail to the front fender. using kit parts, PE and scratched items. I have masked up the engine ready as well. I have added the handrail from copper wire and tweaked up the air filter. I like to replace thin plastic items eg. handrails with wire where possible as they are stronger.

Now for the otherside.

I'd be lost w/o hair dryer motor winding wire (the wife's hair spray clogs the vents causing motor failure, so lifetime supply), bread & rolls twist tie closure wire, and solid 18ga wire from the RR. The copper wire flattens easily for strapping.

Paul,
As an engineer I have a good selection of wire and cables so I'm the same as you a lifetime supply.

Loving the detail Paul I'm always amazed at people who go that extra mile and scratch build stuff :)
