I've been spending a lot of time setting up my new online shop and I've still got lots to do but if I wait until I've totally finished I will never open.

There's still lots to do I'm starting small and building it up so the choice isn't as big as other online retailers, yet.

Everything listed is in stock and ready to ship, I've tried to make sure I'm competitive and I'm not trying to make it back on the postage if I've set it up right I will make nothing on postage, there's no point being cheap then ripping people off on postage, if you find anything on the net cheaper than I have and you want to buy it send me a link and I will at least try and price match it.

New stock should be added on a weekly basis providing I can turn it round, if there is anything you want that you don't see let me know.

I've also ordered a stock of Gator glue should be in in about 10 days

Also any problems with the site let me know.

Hi John.

Just been 'window shopping'! Well thats reallt rather good. Good lay-out, easy navigation, Love the fact that you have divided the paint section up into RAF, Luftwaffe, and US paints.

Good chioce of tools and bits and bobs. The only improvement I can see is more stock as things start rolling.

I have even registered, well tried too....

Unfortunatly I dont need any thing right this moment, but rest assured; Your shop will be the first place I look when buying from England!!!

Good luck and congratulations!

Thanks guys I will be getting more stock over the coming weeks/months it's quite easy to spend well in to 4 figures and have next to nothing to show for it, and it's hard to try and guess what people might buy. it's a case of suck it and see at the moment, but there should be no reason why I can't compete with other online retailers, it will just take time to build up the stock levels.

And if it doesn't work I won't need to buy any models or modelling bits until I retire :)

You are a bad man John... All that stuff that I cannot live without.......... Hope it all works out fine, very nice looking site and far too easy to use as I have found out!!!!!!!!!!

Question. The X...whatsits paints, are they enamel or acrylic?

Thread owner
Thanks Graham, they are acrylic, I've used them for the first time today and I must say I'm impressed, didn't need much thinning for airbrushing, they thing I found was my thumb nail was better painted that the other bits I was spraying :)

Me too. Filled all the fields in ,tried to log in and Error ,account disabled comes up.

Yes I will, I'm just looking for stuff for my next order, if you or anyone have anything in mind let me know, also if they are pre-ordered I will be happy to give a better discount.

John:

This is a cause for tremendous celebration!!! So glad to see you opening part of your dream and that our site has this incredible addition-no other modeling shop has a shop too! How on earth did you get tamiya putty? No one in the US has it-do you ship to the states??? If you can, let me know and I'll buy a couple of tubes!! Take care, Jeff

You know, it is difficult as you get older to keep sane, just ask Ron... I posted earlier in this thread asking John if the Xtracrylix paint is enamel or acrylic. I have just realised what the paints are called.... bit of a clue in the name eh...... Next time I see any of you, give me a slap....

My supplier has loads of it, shame that couldn't be said for the X20-A thinners, I'm pretty sure I could pop some in an envelope for you if you want some.

I didn't point it out to you, I thought it was a trick question :)

congrats John and it's something i will be using so i hope you'll ship around the world :) I love the website; it's visually appealing and easy to use. Just a question, when you have major stocklists, and i click for example on tools, would you have the possibility to select the manufacturer to reduce clicking from page to page or would we have to scroll through all the products? I will be ordering from you for sure my friend! Great Job John.

For our Graham, do you stock full-scale zimmer-frames?

:grinball2:

John, great site easy to navigate and prices are very competitive I will be using it as often as I can. Would it be possible to have a link to your shop from the forum as this would be usefull for members that have registered.

You can view by manufacturer by clicking on one of the links down the left hand side under shopping options.

I've added that to the menu bar near the top of the forum.
