Alright lads and how much is it in??? Sounds a good day and what time does it all kick off

Thats the best bit john, entry to the museum and show is free!! Theres a small charge for parking (about £3 I think) but thats it. The museum is amazing , so many planes , and the past 2 years weve even had good weather too. cheers tony

Cheers tony I think I can talk the enemy round I'll will be there

Thanks for the heads up

Cheers

John

Me too! I'll be there.

No mug shot I'm afraid, for two very good reasons:

1) I've no one here to take a picture.

2) I don't want to frighten the younger members on the forum!

Under the Vulcan at 12:00 is good for me.

Gern

PS I'm toying with the idea of the Hinckley Show on the 18th ( I need to borrow my daughter's car and don't want to impose too many times as I'll need it for the other shows). I've been a couple of times and although it isn't as big as Cosford or Telford, there's still a lot of good stuff there. Anybody else interested?

This is great, I only posted a few hours ago, yet we have four punters already!

Fingers crossed, we will get to meet up again for yet another anniversary.....

Cheers,

Ron

Boo! Too far for me with the car off the road :(

I'll expect plenty of pics from you lucky chaps who'll be there ;)Patrick

Just a short notice quicky really.....

The 3rd and 4th of March @The Ellesmere Port Boat Museum, on The Wirral, Merseyside.(close to the M53)

Scott (noble) has been invited to show his models at the Gala w/end of the Local R.C. Model Boat Club being held at the museum. he has very kindly invited me and phalinmegob to join him and bring some of our own stuff.

I don't know what else will be there, but it is a very interesting place to visit. It is a working museum in as much as there is restoration work going on and it is situated on locks and waterways, giving access to the River Mersey. Its' a large complex with plenty to see and do.

We have been given a building all to ourselves to lay out our 'wares'

There probably won't be any kits to buy...I honestly don't know what to expect, but when I have been there before, there is usually lots going on, various demo's and stuff like that.

It would be really nice to meet some of you there and have a chat and a brew....

Cheers,

Ron

Hi Chaps...I'm back!

Things been none existent on the modelling front for me hence my absence.

Been on the cutting edge of some high profile trauma cases helping rebuild lives instead of me models and unlike bits of plastic its been pretty emotional especially where kids are involved!

Anyway I'm back and looking forward to finishing the airfix refuelling set or maybe starting afresh on a new project.

I'm too hoping to go to Cosford so would be up for meeting.

I will aim for the Vulcan as suggested at 12.

Oh and here's me mug!

As there has been quite a few questions and info knocking about regarding Model shows etc, it has been requested that we have a sticky thread just for such info. Please post anything Show related in here so that we can easily find the information.
For any of you interested in a new model show, a new Kent Model Show is planned for Sunday 22 April 2012. Opening times 10 - 4pm Venue: Harvey Grammar School, Cheriton Road, Folkestone. (5mins from Folkestone West station). There is a website at www.kentmodelshow.co.uk . (Info from flyer picked up at On Track show Folkestone this year. All models catered for, all sizes). No further info I am afraid.

With Rich joining the merry throng, looks like we could well have a good turn out at Cosford.

It will be great to meet new people and have a reunion with my mates from S.M.....

Cheers,

Ron

Thought I would post to keep the April 1st RAF Cosford pot boiling. 12.00 noon under the Vulcan Bomber.

Good to read you will be joining us Andrew.

Cheers,

Ron

Great stuff Andy, It'll be really great to see you there and finally meet face to face!

The way things are shaping up I'd best organise a minibus to take us all around the place......

This has the potential for a great gathering of the S.M. Clan.

Cheers,

Ron
