Simple LED Lighting

Andrew

Congratulations on taking the step and explaining what you learned so eloquently. You certainly have everything under control for lighting your ships. Next step you will be getting into Arduino, like me, and then be able to control your lights automatically making them flash, change colour or just go on and off as needed.

I was thinking of using those small string lights that go into bottles, the battery/switch is like a cork to light up the inside of a vehicle. Anyone tried these?

I had a look at those. Only problem is them being in series, and if enclosed in a model and one dies, they all die. Unless you rewire them of course.

Glad you are pleased with the lights Bobby, nice set of photos as well.
Mine are still in their box, just keeping them safe other wise they will get lost in the clutter !
Good to see you Gary joining in .:thumb2: Can I ask what your building ?

Hi John,
Just completed a 1/35 Sherman, with a basic diorama base, and just starting a 1/35 Tiger 1.

I agree Bobby.
