discussion Site down time

Just to let you know that I will be moving the site to a new server but I'm not sure when.

I've got till the end of March but I will probably do it a lot sooner, the server we are on is getting old now (in computer terms) I've had it for 3 years so it's time to move, and the new one will be cheaper for me which is always a bonus

I will probably do a dummy run to make sure everything is ok before doing it properly, I will close the site as soon as I have dumped the database to make sure I've got all the posts but there is still a small chance one or two will be missing.

Once I change the DNS on the domain the site could be down for several hours.

Just to update you, I've moved all the files across to the new sever but can't fully test it until I change the domain to point to the new one, unless something changed I will do this tomorrow night (Sunday) the site could be inaccessible for about 12 hours.

I had to disable all the addions like the gallery as its getting late and I didn't have time to fix it, I will do as soon as I can

As I said I had to disable all the addons, it's back now the only thing not working is the gallery, I will fix that later.

You will also notice some posts are missing picture attachments, I will fix that as well
