Snow joke!

Log fire, bottle of liquid warmth and a good book. sorted.

Over here we have jut been getting a dusting og snow then rain then snow then rain. Today is the first day the snow has stayed all day. All 1 inch of it. Might have some more tonight...
Feel free to send yours our way.

We wish for snow here every year, but I can imagine it's a bit different when you live in a place like that and have to shovel your way out from time to time...

I thought the same as Ian and then as Steven! Looks like a good reason to stay warm, not go out and crack open something boozy, but then you consider reality and it must be disheartening to have to shovel a ton of snow a day.

For what it's worth though, the pictures make it look wonderful

Hi Jim
Very pretty but not if you actually need to go anywhere :rolling:
Jim

Think positive Jim.
Looking at the last of your excellent photos, at least you've got a couple of Hoola Hoops to exercise with when the snow gets that bad you can't get out!

Got about 15cm here. Had the frosts too. Temps down to -11.
As Ian says. Log fires are the way to go :)

Got a week off now so i'll be thinking about the lads at work when i'm sitting down with a nice hot cup of coffee and toasty feet :)

They’re forecasting up to 20 cm of snow to fall on Saturday/Sunday in the central/eastern parts of the Netherlands, which is a great amount — probably more than fell there in total over the past five years put together. I suppose it will look a bit like those photos above if the forecast does come true.

WOW you must have half the north pole there an they are sayin we are due for some more on sunday but will see on that as they usually get it wrong
chris

I had read that there had been some big snowfalls in the USA & Canada, you know you get a lot of snow when you have a snowplough on your truck! In the UK everyone struggles with an inch of snow.....

north east and we had some snow inch or so more ice & frosts -4s & 5s rained this morning now freezing and just started snowing again great!!
wife bought a sledge for our grand daughter to play on first time we have had snow on the ground this long since December 2009
some of our site's have closed due to the dusting but forecast for up to 10" all good fun while your nursing broken bones`!!!

Back home in Buffalo the forecast is a low of 10F with winds gusting 45 to 50 mph & 9 to18" of snow. The windchill will be fierce. The drifts will be something to see. PaulE

HI PaulE sounds like a bit of rough wheather you got comin an if big drifts please can you take some pics as when drifting accours it can be very beautyfull as long as you on the other side of the glass an we are suppoce to have some but they always get it wrong but thats just my opinion as i dont think they ever got over the hurricane what they said we dint have lol ps mind you they got it right on the beast from the east though i'll give them that
