As an aside I've been playing around and found that you can search for and upload an image from a mobile device with this forum software. That's a major plus for everyone.

I suppose this also renders tapatalk unnecessary (even on ios as they have the same basic "engine")

I quite like the look of that, the Mosaic effect is nice as you can crop your photos to any size and they'll fit.

Personally I'm not sure I'd use a gallery, though I used to browse the old one occasionally for ideas.

Go to reply and then click on more options, you will see a watch this thread tick box, also at the top right of your page there is something called alerts, that will show you when someone has quoted you, like now Not sure why that is, I've not noticed any problems with it but I will look in to it

Me too Paul ... didn't realise there was an actual way of donating stars.... and I never saw anywhere in my personal gubbins a collection of stars I'd acquired.

I just used to write it in the reply as a gesture of how good it was.

really like the feature at the home page see all the new post's and you can preview them by running over them..superb loveing the change and i also like how you can see what you have added to your shop keep us updated a lot better

I've found out that the old gallery will work with the new forum, I just have to get an update which I'm going to do tonight

Just found another plus for this forum that should be used on Vb .

I found this mainly on the other forums I used to frequent..not so much here but I did find an instance earlier today.

Some people tend to click reply on massively long posts which is subsequently quoted and then only write "cool" or only a few words. When they post it up it takes up a big chunk of the page and you have to scroll all through the original quoted post again...a disadvantage on mobile 3g for instance.

This forum just displays the first couple of lines of the quoted part and then the reply. You have an "expand" link under the quote if you need to view it.

It got particularly frustrating on the tarantula forum I used to be on where you had 10 or 20 full images of a spider quoted with "nice" written underneath.

Might only be a little thing but I think its brilliant and well thought out

Sorry to be a pain, but this is still buggin out my eyes for some reason, I've even changed it to the frost version but it's still no better I used to be able to spend ages reading the threads in here, now, more than a few minutes and my eyes are hurting...
