HI Al yes i took loads of pics of this sunset but my canon camera just would not get all the fantastic coulors proberly so just posted the best i could find but this pic did not do it justice as the colours were a lot more oranger an better in real

That’s a nacreous cloud (only knew this because I saw the article a couple of days ago) …..not common. Reported on here for the South of England.
