He's been 'nil by mouth' since tea time last night and still waiting for 'the call' - just heard that he's just going to theatre!

Seems like the op went well he's now looking forward to a good breakfast - think that he might have to wait until he's back home for that, knowing what hospital food reputations are like! (At least he got a cup of Nescafé the first night he was there!)

Good news at last Gerry. As to hospital food, it’s a bit of a myth like British Rail sandwiches. I’ve found it no better or worse than most mass catering establishments producing food for hundreds on a minuscule budget….

PS, I personally think weetabix is the closed thing to wallpaper paste in a box. Yuk!
