Scale Model Shop

Spots on the Internet (2021)

I'd say barrels & water pump! Not a 'new' kit per se, just cross boxing!
Dave

I've got both so isn't new to me but if it had come out in that form I would have saved a bit of cash.

Cheers,
Richard

Hmmm not bad detail for 1/72 - and it is a 'snap together' model - notice that there are two pilots - the model will have RAF and Soviet AF decals.............

Weak story line - original was Bogart as a US tank commander during the retreat from El Alamein, no water so must find some in the desert. Pick up mixed bag of nationalities/ personalities as they go - oh, and fight the dastardly Nazis on the way! All live happily ever after as the water fairy smiles benevolently on them just in time!
I recall it having quite a few nice shots of the interior, good for reference.

I think that this will cause a lot of interest................
Dave

I would have liked the ICM Beaufort but it took me so long to find one in 1/72 scale so will build that. Nice looking plane though and I prefer it to the Boston unfortunately not as famous having most of it's operations in the Far East.

Cheers,
Richard

ICM also announced the production of a 80 bottle acrylic coluor set, but added that these would only be available in the CIS ( Commonwealth of Independent States ) - which is like a common market for ex USSR countries.

A little searching leads me to think they are common in Central and Southern Europe. This photo, for example, was apparently taken in Split, Croatia:

Looks to be the exact type from the MiniArt kit.

Well found .
