That one is lightyears ahead of the Tamiya ones you were asking about :) Would be nice if they did the whole M2/M3 series and derivatives, though I guess they’re so far going for ones Dragon didn’t already release.

It would be nice to have a shelf (shelves) filled with 1/2 tracks of the various M2/M3 kinds

Love the Leopard but does anybody have experience of RFM 'buildability'?

Having completed their CH2 1:35, I found it very good. It was only my second build and thought maybe I had taken on more than I may be capable of. However!! It went together well, good detail, instructions were understandable. I messed up a couple of things but that was down to me not the kit.
All in all, I’d buy another. (If being totally honest I think it better than the Tamiya kit I have!!)

Just in. The fuselage is slide moulded in one piece - crikes! What’s next? A slide moulded Bf 109 complete? Is this along with 3D moving away from scale modelling or a welcome innovation? (Photo from The Modelling News)

This will be the first kit of the new ‘Wings 2’ series. On one side the one piece fuselage will save filling and scribing but on the other the fuselage was actually built in 2 halves - maybe not a biggy as I’m sure Dragon will have the correct scribing for 2 halves but that being said - I just think that the building is now being done for as opposed to by the modeller.

The fitting of the wings into the recessed roots may be seen by some as a good idea - I might concur but will reserve judgement for the time being.

I had to do a treble take there. I found a couple of VWs and thought I had these but they are new type with sunroof and looks like new tyres. Maybe I will, maybe I won’t…
As for Leopard I have the interior kit and believe that to be the definitive one so no need to buy another IMHO

I built their Sherman VC a few years ago (converted it to a standard V, though) and it was a pretty good experience. A few fiddly bits, but on the whole, I’d say about equal to a Takom kit. Which, in fact, it reminded me of rather a lot — to the extent it left me wondering if they’re two brands of the same company.

Sorry if this is old hat to some but on the modeling news web page there's a look at wing tech 2's (dragon) me109 emil? 1/48 with a slide moulded fuselage and loads of other moulding techniques apparently 2 years in the making/development ,must admit mit all that joining two halves and sanding filler stuff has kept all my wingy things in the stash perhaps now we've got shake and bake aircraft making it our way.
