Available now for €9.95. Figs are in Luftwaffe uniforms to be used with Das Werk's, 88mm FlaK auf 9-ton Vomag or any other FlaK kit...

I saw it somewhere else. The figures look nice, but it’s an odd combination of figures because two-thirds of the crew isn’t there, they could only aim in traverse like this, and one of them is putting a round into a fuse setter apparatus that’s not going to do anything because there’s nobody in the seat for it :) I hope they’re planning on releasing another set with the remaining vital crew members (elevation-handwheel turner, fuse setter operator, actual loader …).

The main problem I see with these figures is the uniform.
They are wearing the Luftwaffe's Tuchrock (four-pocket skirt) - that was the dress and parade uniform! There are staged pictures for regulations where this uniform was worn on the anti-aircraft guns - but certainly not during training and operations. A Fliegerbluse (thats the fieldblouse for the Luftwaffe) or overalls would be much better and more believable.

Maybe there was a parade that got interrupted by a bombing raid …? ;) My knowledge of the uniforms didn’t stretch that far, but I did think they looked rather formal in those uniforms compared to how you usually see Flak crews in photographs. Now you’ve explained it, I agree it would be odd for a crew to be dressed this way in action.

Oh dear, another Tiger......................:disappointed2:

At least it’s the Porsche Tiger, not the Henschel one. This one seems to represent the only one that appears to have seen front-line service, as a command tank for the Ferdinand unit you can see in the background of the boxtop illustration. That’s the same unit as the one with the Bergepanther with a Panzer IV turret we talked about recently because of ICM releasing a kit of that.

Can't help but think the ICM Anzac set would be more appropriate..................

I don’t know about that Dave. British troops outnumbered Anzac troops by five to one in that campaign. Surprised they didn’t call it the Gallipoli campaign though. It’s better known by that name.
