My first helicopter. One of the easiest paint jobs that I have had to do as everything was pretty much Olive Drab. A very nice little kit that fitted together like a glove. The decals had suffered with age and were very easy to break when applying so I resorted to decal film to finish the job. Here are the completed pics. Thanks to all who followed the build process and to Geoff for organising the US icons GB.

Not a big fan of the Apache, but I bought this kit a while back to do a Longbow conversion (before there was ever an actual kit or conversion set)
Which I never got around too

Very nice turnout all round here. Yeah, olive drab can be very dull as a scheme

Great job steve , you got some nice variation in the monotone olive drab . The Apache is the epitome of form following function isnt it , looks only a mother could love !

Thanks Joe. Yes I did, apart from the decals. Having worked with Revell for so long it was so nice to work with a kit that fitted together.

Great result mate. I know its an ugly beast, but I've always had a soft spot for the Apache, ever since I had a ZX Spectrum Simulator game for it, way back when. Never built oner either, so maybe one day..... your's looks good though....
