Before i started spent a good 10 minutes with a highlighter marking out the choice I made (think about 7/8 marking options) . So far wheels built.

Nice looking vehicle, well... nice might not be right, it looks very dangerous but I hope you know what I mean.

Any chance of some photos of the sprues Steve?

Sorry, well get some up tonight, in the meantime;

Wheels - straight forward - two sides with a rubber insert, easier to remove from the tank for painting.

Track links, Nightmare to remove and clean up, hence why i went 3rd party for the track links

Not the smartest way they have placed the gates in the link for cleaning but I guess they thought that they would be hidden.
Hmm.

The A-10 Hog was designed to withstand the deadly hail of lead thrown up by these baby's on the European battle field. o_O

Nice choice!!;):)

Used as ground weapons in Syria, seem to make a mess of whatever they are shooting at.

Looking forward to seeing this finished Steve
Got chance to see the real vehicle up close in the former east Germany a few years ago fearsome beastie

Yep watching it on YouTube, looks very fearsome, doesn't seem very accurate firing at static targets on the firing range. Brill video of a bank of shilkas shooting at an aerial drone though, "chatter, chatter, chatter"

nice tank Steve, see what you mean by the static shooting, but shooting at the drone no hassle. But the links on that model looks like it's going to be a pain in the rear

They are using optical tracking system the fire control radar was useless at LoW level
Fearsome above 250 feet to slow moving targets such as the attack helicopters of the day

Hence why i have ordered some MasterClub (resin) ones, dont fancy wasting a few hours of my life cleaning those 'sprued' ones up

Ah, that makes sense, one vid on Youtube and i reckon 1 in 50 rounds hit a plywood sheet on a firing range !!, dont seem to have any problems with buildings though :-(
