Blimey, they’ve taken the logs off………..looks miles better without them.
Lovely, i the logs were on the Finish StuG, this beauty is a Alkett StuG, June 44
She's a beauty. A great subject for a study build. That worn zimmerit would be a real challenge. Some nice weathering and rust on her too.

Don’t remember that one being there last time I went then. The only stug I saw was loggy mclogsides…
I think this one has returned from Duxford a few months back?
That’ll be why I haven’t seen it before then…..never been to Duxford!
That's a great museum too Tim. Lucky enough to visit last year. You can easily spend the day there exploring and looking around. I'll return at some point as one of the sheds was closed due to covid. They fly planes overhead all day long. There was a Thuderbolt flying during my visit.

There was another Stug (their only running one?). In one of arena battles. It didn't do a lap and so was too far away to get a decent picture.
