Howdy folks

I realize a lot of you don't know me but the old timers will. I have been gone from the forum for several yrs now but Ian planning a comeback tour lol.

I have just completed my first "speed build" in over 3 or 4 yrs.

I am currently coming to you live from my iphone 5 so I am not going to attempt to post the photos in this thread. As was the case back then, it will be posted in the aircraft photography section , and "yes" the photos of my comeback build were taken out on my driveway just like old times.

I have been looking round the site, things and people have changed, but the love of modeling is still going strong I see.

But back to the subject at hand, I look forward to seeing some familiar old-er faces a meeting some new ones.

However I am afraid my latest build will have to wait for posting tomorrow. When I can do it from my home computer and not my phone.

I just wanted my old friends to know that I am back and trying to get back into my "speed builds".

Have a good evening,

Greg aka GEDUBBYA (that's, GW my initials spelled out), Being from arkansas it took me 9 letters to spell 2 letters.

Oh, btw before I forget, my latest build was my 1959 4 star monogram plastikit of the Piper Tri-pacer.

Seeya tomorrow evening.

Howdy all,

Well I got the photos posted in the "aircraft photos" section as attachments.

But the reason I am posting here, and now is that I wished to thank all of you for the warm welcome back, but of course I would expect no less from the best group of people on the web.

It's feel like I have been overseas away from my family, but instead of blood Kin, all of ya'll are my family and I have really missed participating. Oh I have from time to time looked in on ya'll just to make sure things were going ok , I mean this is my hobby and I had to make sure it was still Ali e and well on my absence. However I could not have left it in better hands than those of all the members of this forum.

I remember several years back anticipating something like the 5000th post here and anticipating a milestone in the number of members although I don't remember exactly the number that was coming up at the time (1000? 1500?)

Anyway I also remember when there would be 3 or 4 people logged on at one time... Last night I saw more than 300 logged on.

Having said all that, I want to congratulate all of you in growing this forum into what it is today, I am sure John is happy with how his dream of a website turned out because I know it makes me proud just to be a member.

Anyway, if ya get the chance go lol at the piper and have a good day and I will be building and posting more in thievery near future as I get to feeling better.

GEEDUBBYA aka GW
