WOW that is stunning work and detail.I have been staring at my Tamiya 1/32 P-51 in the box for almost 2 years now and have still not plucked up the bravado to build it....Theuns
I've had one since they were released!

I just haven't got around to it as I keep starting other projects. I built a 1/32 Tamiya Spitfire IX when that first came out so I can't use a lack of bravado as an excuse :)

That Corsair is looking very nice Ivan.

Cheers

Hello

Got around to building a bit today. Started building and painting the engine and glued on the vertical stabilizer. I also painted the rear wheel. It's getting too cold to go and do models in my garage so I moved into the basement. I am going to use Akan WW2 US colours as the main paint for the fuselage. Hope you guys are enjoying the build.

I added a black wash (water and XF-1 flat black) but i'm not sure if it looks good. There is also a small blue decal

Sorry, but no...hang on...this isn't right. You get a kit and start it...no, no, there is a period of at least a day in test fitting and caressing the plastic (or is that just me?) and besides, you cannot be a proper modeler, your workbench is just too damn neat and tidy...IMPOSTER!I joke of course, nice kit and very nice work so far.

Si:) Feeling guilty about my mucky work-space.
Lol. I probably would'nt build it for a month until I had researched enough on it if I had a kit that with that sort of reputation. The only kit I have that would come close to that is the Dragon Bf110 1:32 kit. By the way Ivan, that looks really fantastic.
