Rules and chat thread for the Tamiya GB
Idea for the GB is to celebrate all things Tamiya and give us something to occupy us over xmas
The hobby would probably be in a much poorer state if it wasn't for them
Tamiya-san died last year and this year is 80 years since the company was created..... Started out as a timber company who had a sideline making wooden toys
1......GB will run first day of November til the last day of January..... But we will have the usual loose finishing date so no hurry
2.....anything Tamiya..... They do so many genres.... Cars, bikes, military, planes, floaty boaty, figures, even dinosaurs, and there must be other stuff I can't think of
3......as basic as you want or throw a bucket of extras at it..... Dios welcome...... As cheap or expensive as you want....... As long as the basis of it is a Tamiya product....... Enter the GB as many times as you want
4.....when you start your thread box art and sprue shots are a must...... Only unstarted kits allowed
5..... When finished do a finished thread in the appropriate place
6....... Any questions ask away in this thread......... Any chat before the start, in this thread
7..... Don't think I've missed anything except the most important rule....... HAVE FUN!!!
