My apologies if this has already been mentioned. My broadband has been offline for the last couple of days - it's been very lonely!

Anyway, the IPMS show at Telford (details on their web site) is on later this month. Specifically Sat/Sun the 13th/14th. Who's up for it and do we want to arrage a get-together?

Hi dave, i wont be able to make it, a bit busy plus i havent got a spare £500, which is what id probably spend at the biggest model show on the calendar!!!! I can take comfort in the knowledge that you will be flying the flag for all us kit hoarders , hope you bag a good few bargains , cheers mate , tony

To the best of my knowledge at the moment, I'll be there on both days and I really would like to be able to meet anyone that's going - it's always nice to put a person behind the posts we see.

However, the lads that did the shows earlier this year will know I'm totally pants at organising things! If anyone would like to take on the job of saying "We'll meet at so-and-so time in this-or-that place..." pop the details on here and I'll see you there.

Dave, me and the present Mrs. Ron will be camping close to Telford so we will be going. Possibly not on the Saturday but deffo. Sunday.

I keep my downloading to an absolute minimum so I can't help with where and when so I won't know anything until I get there, apart from what I hope to read on your thread, then I will ask a 'Job's Worth' where so and so area is...If ya folla?

A plea from Mrs. Ron...Can someone bring along a female so she has someone to talk to whilst the boys are away having fun?

A simple I.D. What about a brightly coloured, stick-on disc with 'SM' on it?

Looking forward to seeing you again Dave, and anyone else going whom I've not met yet.

Hi all,

I will be going on Sunday and bringing the father-in-law too who you may remember helped me build the shed....or should I say i helped him!

Would be really good to meet people and as Dave says put faces to the posts.

As for the sticker Ron S&M could work as long as others don't think we are in to painful extra curricular activities!!

We could do one of those mass spontaneous gatherings....perhaps we all start flying around the replica spitfire to the tune of a dambusters at a set time...sure if we get thrown out we will all find a pub!

Really look forward to the show and hope to see as many of you as possible on the day

I've just checked and apparently Revell have a stand at the show. How about if we want to meet up, we loiter with intent around the Revell stand at 1300 on each day? If you got some sort of badge/sticker saying you're from the forum we'll spot you and we can take it from there .....

Suits me fine Dave, 1300hrs, at the Revell stand. I will try and make it both days but I will deffo. be there on Sunday. I still have to find where in Telford the place is mind!

I will have some sort of coloured disk stuck to my person with S.M. on it.

Right guys. As you know im well kitted out for my scale size of building, there is nothing that i could ever need now for this hobby. Now that i have brought this 1/16th Tiger i am going to try to follow Rays blogg when he gets going and turn it into some sort of master peice, obviously it wont be as good as Rays version as he has more experience and skill at this size just like all of you guys.

Getting to the point: Starting with absolutly zilch for working at this scale apart from what i have just shown below and considering the event coming up the weekend, it is a good opertunity for me to go on a wild spending spree, especially as the tax man has just given me a cheque today for £800.

Can you guys tell me what i need to buy right down to the last minute detail. I have an airbrush and compressor, but i need paints, thinners tools brushes, you name it ill buy it. Thanks in advance.
