Welcome to this Very special GB.
We honour the memory Of Alan G. Tragically taken from his Wife and Family, his friends and colleagues and us all here on the forum.
A man that is and will be missed by us all.
As per the heading, the start date is set for the start of January ending the end of April.
Any scale, type, of German Luftwaffe Fw190

Please refrain from posting what you are going to build in this thread, keep it as a surprise.
You may open your own build thread and post in there.
I will say it is an option if you want to post the sprue photos or not.
Please observe the start date. No building before January 1st.
Lets us keep the chat to a respectable tone and in this thread.

A very special GB indeed. I am honored to be able to take part.
A few years ago we had a GB for another member who had passed, Simon T. I know that Simon's family, although not part of the modelling community, were very touched by the tribute GB and enjoyed seeing the builds. It would perhaps be a nice touch if Alan's family could be kept up to date with what his friends here are doing.

I too will take part. I have a suitable subject in the stash but won’t reveal it until the allotted time….
i echo Jim’s thoughts and also think it would be fitting if Alan’s loved ones were kept aware of this tribute build.

Ive just been looking what fw190 kits there are out there

Is this just limited to fw190 or does it include the ta152 variant?

There is no specified Scale for the build John. Any scale is accepted. Not sure if this will change your mind.

This thread IS in the GB, which has been approved and opened. You no longer need to say you are wanting to join in, this is a thread dedicated to chat related to the GB. The only thing asked is not to reveal your build in here.
Talk about Alan G, Fw190s or both.
