Hi folks, sorry not been around as work has gone mad, so much to do and so little time!

Had a re-think about figures and I've decided to use the idea of fighting in the factory but I like the idea of some Germans waiting for the T34 to get close so thay can put a mine on its tracks. Maybe a panzerfaust as well from the rear, so I've changed the figures originally for this and got these now.

View attachment 17452 So just need Russian crew and some figures!

Nearly there on the bottom part of the interior, but even this build is taking its time.

Will be a shame to have all that interior detail hidden, looks stunning.

Hi Ade

Nice job on the interior and a great choice of figures. I'm thinking of leaving the upper hull 'loose-fit' on the top so that the interior can be viewed (if the fit is good). How about you?

Great job on the weathering looks a like a well-used and battle-hardened machine.

Hi Chaps, I will be doing the same as Paul and have it so you can look inside. Going to kit crew as well so it will be cosy in there.

I do like my weathering as machines like that deteriorated very quickly in battle, with all oil, fumes, smoke etc

The hull MG does seem quite small though, dont know what calibre but its not as meaty as the 7.92 MG42.

wow! now i see what that kit is really like. it looks so good. so detailed. great for a bit of heavy oiled up weathering. it really is now going to be super to see this finished. i'm hooked!

Thanks chaps, here is a few more pics, I've decided to use the idea of Steiner's men attacking a T34 with mines etc now I thought a winter scene would be better so I've whitewashed the T34!

Sprayed using tamiya white acrylics

Hi Ade,

I'm really impressed with the detail you got in this so far. (You'll see why probably tomorrow).

In the meantime, SOMEBODY'S gotta say it!

If you scaled up that clear turret and filled the holes it'd make a wonderful fish tank!

All together now .......

Grooooooaaaaaannnnnn!

Ade what a superb kit and your work on it, it`s great. I have never tried an AFV tank before this has tempted me to get one. My wallet has just groaned. Cheers mate Gareth.

that really does look like some kit! it is a shame to cover all the detail work inside. i have to say tho, i do think it looks better in your whitewash than in olive. glad you've got stuck in there with the airbrush, i'm having fun with mine too.
