Must admit that I did a bit more to the interior than I originally set out to
,and even that was sparse!!
... when I think of me taking so much time on the white frames of the seats for instance?!!! MADNESS!!
Anyway, it's all sealed up now,and I have a plan for that bloody annoying stud gap

Stowage will hide a lot of sins Though if you don’t like sandbags then maybe stowage is also out?

BTW, it’s not rivets on that strip but bolts: the whole nose of the vehicle can come off by undoing the bolts along the top, sides and bottom, as well as breaking the track of course Here in the factory on a very early M4A2, going the other way:

Stowage is fine by me,I just don't like like sandbags shoved on,to me they "dumb down" an otherwise interesting vehicle....changing a character full AFV into,more or less a mobile sanger!
I'm going for a look along these lines.....

... in fact,the more I look at this photo,the more I get tempted to have a bash at doing it as a Dio.... the knocked out Panther and "bridge" are definitely doable... but I've never attempted water effects before,so maybe not!!

Oh, I don’t know … if done right they add a lot of character, IMHO. But it depends on how, when and why, I think.

That bridge is easy — it wasn’t a few weeks ago, but it is now. That’s to say, I’m no expert, but it looks to me like:—

Minus the central deck and the ramps at the ends. This is a longer version (it has an additional section in the middle) of the bridge that comes with the Churchill AVRE kit I bought yesterday.

The water should be relatively simple too, because it looks to be so muddy as to be opaque. This means you can get away with using something like plaster for the water, just sculpting in some ripples and things, without having to worry about pouring resin or some other trick to make transparent water on a diorama.

When I was out with 617 in the first Gulf war,we had a SNECK who was such a nightmare!!
... We were all knackered after doing permanent nights for 5 months or so,and this Brummie **** got flown in at a late date,and his main phrase was," Another day, another Dollar Guys"...
.. we would've shot him there and then if we could have got away with it!!

ALL.... ,a short update,...
Some more streaking going on the lower hull,the barrel sorted,and the "Turret" mostly assembled/basic painted/streaked...gotta admit that I had a few problems getting this to behave... but got there in the end.

..... looking forward to getting some detail painting done,and,the weathering sorted... This is a good bit of fun

Got to love an Achilles - even a troublesome one!

These are what got Junior into modelling and me back into it. We bought an Armourfast wargaming pair - super-simple but perfect for a six year old. He then announced that for our little battles, before I was allowed a single Panther, he wanted 16......an entire division's worth! Even now he's on the lookout for it when we go down top Bovington!
