In the British Army Achilles were actually part of the royal artillery, not 'tank' units and if what I found is right there were on paper 24 in an armoured Division....
And of course the British army didn't use companies in this context as far as I know.
A British 44/45 armoured division's anti-tank regiment on paper consisted of 4 batteries of 12 vehicles/guns each. in theory 2 towed i.e. 17pdrs and two propelled i.e. Achilles/M10.
At least that's what I have found says.

Yes, definitely on the home straight, it's now more or less just a case of stowage,bit more weathering and choosing a couple of figures,(none provided with the kit
).
Looking very good. Loving the streaking on the sides of the turret….adds character!

... I was a bit worried I'd overdone it a bit and made it too dark, but on reflection I think with all the "add ones" fitted,and a bit of dusting it should be ok.

Well then... I'm doing some stowage and other bits now,but it's getting there.

keep your head down for the inevitable 'dogs' wanged your way by the committee at Race towers, I've noted they are quite accurate with their throwing ability..

Some more done,was hoping to have it finished by now, but to be honest I've been laid incredibly low by some kinda bug,so this is all the progress I've managed...
... Some stowage added, although I feel it'll need to be dumbed down a bit,the tools have been almost finished, but not ready QUITE yet ..
More to come soon,but so far,so good I think
