Well, I've been like a cat on a hot tin roof waiting for this GB to start.... and it ain't starting just yet.
HOWEVER ... I've stocked up today, just so I'm DEFINITELY sorted,

..... As Smashy and Nicey would say..
.... "Let's Rock" ;)

“Wise words mate “
Best primer on the planet andy , bench looks far too tidy though , and just HOW many pairs of tweezers does a man need ?!!!! :smiling5: :dizzy:

That's gotta be the second best primer on the planet, (second only to Tamiya's own primer), it's my go to primer for all manner of things...

What are we supposed to do with the impatience and impetuousness of youth…..
Now you can start young man……

Nice primer, bench looks tidy……but where’s the PLASTIC? :tired:

Poptastic post there mate.....
..... I use The Halfords stuff all the time, except when I'm doing my chair-itty work, but I don't like to talk about that mate. ;)

Indeed Tamiya primer is very good, but this stuff suits me fine....and vfm wise, takes a lot of beating :)
Was tempted to put the clocks forward an hour lol
Yes,a cunning plan without any draw backs. :)

Ha!! .....ok then.... "and we're off"!! :)
He's probably still in bed, it's been 8 hours and no progress shots..........
Unfortunately, you were closer than you think there.... didn't wake up until 8:30ish.... Had a late night. ;)

Ok then, this kit was an evil bay swoop about 12 months ago,all of the"extras"were included,I can't remember exactly how much I paid, but approximately£30 ,so I reckon it worked out at a bit of a bargain for. :)
So onto the sprue pics.....

A lot of people look down on these Italeri kits, but I've always kinda liked them :)
You can't see much of it in those pics, but the detail is actually rather good,(which I'll show in the build pics),and with the additions, such as gun barrels,it should look ok....
...... depending on my abilities of course. ;)
So that's it for now,I'll be making a start after I pick Rach up from work at 13:00,so until then, thanks for looking in,and see you later. :)

.. it makes me wonder why they make these in clear plastic when you have to paint them anyway?!!
Nevermind,it's all under primer already now :) ....
... Another update in a couple of hours. ;)

Crikey Andy you're not hanging around... I just walked past my 'hobby' room, and could hear the Zero calling to me..build me...build me now!!!, but as per the best laid plans of mice and men... SWMBO has now got me sorting suitcases out for our holiday at the end of the month....(I must admit I did have this crazy thought about packing her up and sending her alone so I can get some peace...lol)

He off and at speed. There looks to be a lot of wonderful detail which all needs painting. That will slow you down ;)

... Hopefully I'll get some decent progress done during the week. ;)
As always, thanks very much for looking in, it's much appreciated :)
