Umm if you'd have asked me 6 months ago, I'd have recommended it whole heartedly.
But recently I've found the finish to be somewhat patchy & that's with a new bottle. It could just be me of course!
But I'm thinking about trying Alclad Aqua Clear Gloss from positive reviews I've seen.
Since the demise of the original Klear, the pursuit of a really good gloss varnish has been a tricky one!
After reading everybodies comments I decided to get some tamiya x22 I thinned it with x 22 its gone on no problems and dried like glass only problem is it will work out expensive to use it all the time
Interesting Col because I've always thought that X22 was designed to be added to matt paint in order to make it glossy, rather than as a standalone gloss varnish.
If you get the chance, could you please post some pics of something you've used X22 on?
