Hi all,
Next up for me is this rather villainous looking Tiger Commander bust from Pegaso.... I hesitate to post the box art as it will show up my efforts but here goes...
The face whilst being realistic also has an almost comic book villain look to it so this could be interesting. The bust also comes with the Tiger cupola and machine gun so there’s an awful lot going on in such a small space... so I think I’m going to dispense with the cami uniform and go for the flat black instead.... I suspect this is going to take me some time to complete so please bear with me... here is progress to date...




The light does seem to cast a pronounced shadow over the eye socket ( for once I didn’t struggle to get the pupils aligned!)... so here’s a couple of pics taken early this morning..


I suspect getting the goggles right could be a challenge but time will tell.

Love that face Jason, and finely painted by yourself. Good call to go for the black uniform (I would!) - there is certainly enough detail otherwise to satisfy the eye.

The crusher is about done.... the goggles were a bit of a challenge and whilst I’m not too sure I don’t think I will risk trying them again.
