Hi all with me just finishing the Helicopter GB, i had an idea for another SIG build. A Tiger meet. So any kit, any scale, just as long its got Tiger stripes.

Start date will be 1st July end date Last day of December. So any takers on this ?

Hi all with only 4 takers on this it will have to go on hold as you need 10 builders to start a SIG. If anyone is interested just add you name here and when/if we get 10 we will start

I have one and its unbuilt I could offer mine to make the numbers up cheers John someone's got to come last lol

Just keep plugging it. Maybe a few inspirational photos....

I went to RIAT in 1997 with 230 sqn. We took a Puma and decorated it when we arrived because GOCNI refused release a cab to be painted before then losing it for a week to an airshow. We were heavily taskedat the time just before the second IRA ceasefire. One of the lads spent ages cutting black fablon into tiger stripes and got the painters to scalle up a vinyl decal of a prowling tiger. When the cab landed at Fairford we stuck all these stripes on and applied PX to shine the cab and came second. All of the decals had to be removed before we returned to NI but the exhaust soot stuck to the residual adhesive and created a subdued tiger stripe effect that took a few washed to remove. The cab got re-roled to P2 for the SF lads who were pretty chuffed with the markings apparently.

Sorry Ian, been rather busy with work lately and haven't had a lot of time to do any modelling. Wouldn't want to commit to a build I can't finish on time (still have my F-4 on the desk!). Will let you know when I have some free time!

I really struggle to get these group builds done on time but go on then Ian, count me in , its just too good a subject to pass up !! Cheers tony
