Cheers Geoff. It is well fitted, and not much masking is required, so it should survive the painting. If it doesn’t, I’ll replace it with brass tubing….

Well, that looks to have gone nicely…..
Quite pleased with that. Fading is there, but not overwhelming. Gloss is now on and drying, so stickers next……interesting to do a single colour aircraft. It’s not something commonly used by other WW2 powers, unless a night or winter scheme.

That preshade has gone well. It shows beautifully under the top coat. A nice light touch with the airbrush.
