This is the old Airfix kit, with most of the 'rivet-fest' surface detail removed, radio added inside the cockipit, the cowling front reduced in diameter, and two small blocks added behind the cowling (which only appear in one panel!). Everything else is OOB.
Although there is a decal sheet for EFSR markings for this 'plane (including every other international printing of the book variant) I used a set of RAF letters I had to hand, with a 'B' altered to 'R.' If I'd thought about it at the time, I could have put FERS, the original French version, on one side!
Rattle can yellow, Tamiya Flat varnish, and done. Simples
'Realistically', the whole of the bottom of the floats should be anti-fouling black, but only the rear half is ever shaded. Likewise, the small rudders don't appear in every image, and half the time Herge seems to draw them as just loops.
Snowy is a 3D print that came with a pilot figure. I need another one now to sit with Tintin in the cockpit of a stolen Bordurian fighter I
