Hoping you get better soon Ian , and as has been said - stick to the bench its much safer than the outside world , theres nothing you could possibly hurt yourself with modelling ...oh hang on ,maybe a sharp knife or two , and various poisonous chemicals, and high speed power tools , and multitudes of sharp ,pointed implements , apart from that its a harmless pursuit!!!! You,ll be on the mend in no time , cheers tony

Cheers chaps. I had to stay home today as well, its kinda hard to wear shoes with a busted little toe. I did try but after five minutes my toe was screaming. Whats a guy to do when safty shoes are a rule strongly enforced in the ware house..

On the up side my little finger is mobile again. not fully but I can bend it 90 deg at the second join. Its still pretty swollen up though and hurts if i knock it. my thumb is still very stiff and can only bend it through about five degrees at the first joint. again very tender and I can tell you that if I knock it on the end the pain is more than I can or will describe. So I think that the little finger was just a sprain but pretty sure the thumb is cracked.

I hope that tomorrow I can either get to work again or build something.
