Thanks Geoff, this has been a fun build regardless.

Thanks Ian, I did the basics in the cockpit, but nothing extra as it would have been a bit of a waste. Good to know about the white stripes, I still have to decide my method for them, paint or decal. I think I will do some experiments first.

You are right Nick, she will be big.

Very kind of you to say Jim, I just hope I can do the paint job justice.

Lovely work. The flaps are a great addition on any model

I have made a start on painting the fuselage and wings.

Here the underside has been painted red, and awaits the white stripe decals which should be fun.

Neat looking paint job. Putting on the white stripes will be fun.

Nice to see a brush painted model Garry. A skill that is beyond me.

Thanks Steve, to be honest, it is the first time brush painting an aircraft, but I wanted to see what result I could achieve.

Nice paint job Garry, it’s a colourful bird 👍

Geoff.

.......following very closely as I'm brush painting the same plane only 1/3 the size. Yours looks great.

Thanks Paul, I am trying to transfer my art skills to models, which is not as easy as it sounds. I still have work to do on this one.

Thanks Ian. I hadn't heard that term before, but yes it would seem so.
