Just seen this one Gary, looking forward to seeing this one coming together.

I have started the build in the cockpit.
The fit of parts is pretty good, and no trouble was encountered.


The engine bay is pretty well detailed, even though it will all be covered over with the body work.

The well detailed pilot is assembled and will have a lick of paint before closing him up in the cockpit. It seems a pity to not be able to see the little fellow.

Here are the fuselage halves bonded together with the office included, which unfortunately covers all my lovely painting.



The tail section and wheel have also been assembled.


The underside showing the engine details before I cover it all up with the wings,

I have been very impressed with the fit of all the parts, well done Hasagawa, it has been a pleasure building this model.

Great work Garry. It is a shame all that lovely engine detail is covered. I have to say that I am impressed with how Hasagawa have designed this kit. That tail section joint assembly looks incredibly strong.

A little more progress, the wings have been assembled and dry fixed to the fuselage, and fit as expected.

Coming a long well. I can see I have no need to got to mad in the cockpit. Mind you I'm not putting the pilot in so...
Those white stripes on the undersides... I believe that it was Alan that informed us that the white stripes in real life where brush painted and 'a bit wonky' at the best of times...

Great looking cockpit, pilot and engine. Glad the fuselage halves went together so well but as you say - all your painstaking work is covered and there is still a canopy to go.
