This turning into a very long build, mainly due to drying of the pva sealing coats. I certainly don't want a leak when doing the resin pour.

Going to have some of the water plants coming through the resin, with a darker section first, then slightly lighter , then clear .

Greetings, a start has been made with the pour.

Decided to do a very shallow one first with colour, going to leave it to fully dry before continuing.
The next pour will have very little colour in, the only requirement is a light sanding of the surface where I can get to.
Of course this will need a thorougher clean before the next layer.

Now covered up to dry.

Well the good news is the resin is starting to harden.
Just found some ferns that need some paint , so that will be the days job, plus some gardening.

Good afternoon, just after lunch I did the 2nd pour. This time a different paint was used to tint and less of it.
Pleased with the outcome.

This had definitely given a sense of depth, the second pour being a lighter tint has shown up the stones and dead leaves on the base.

This was taken just before a flame was passed over the resin.

That is looking most excellent John. Definitely achieving a sense of depth.
Thanks Jim, so pleased the multi pour has worked. The company have been very helpful in suggesting on how to achieve this with a light sanding in-between .

You’re really getting the hang of resin water, if you ask me.
