But what's the thingy in the nose? I can't make it out for the life of me!

Another great build Trey, your paint work is always so sharp and clean. I'm interested in the urethane finish; is that airbrushed, and if so what do you thin it with? Do you think it would be safe to spray over acrylics as a top coat?
