Hi all

i found these photocopies pages from a very old magazine 'Modern mechanics and investions for December" while I was sorting out some old papers. I cannot remember where or when I got them, they look to be from the 1920s or 1930's.

an interesting, and big version of Battleships - with exploding targets!

not a project for me, but if anybody is brave enough it would be great to follow the build

Peter

Wow. No safety elves in those days LOL. I would have absolutely loved that as a kid, as would almost everybody else I suspect! Fantastic find Peter…

I love the idwa of moving targets and exploding targets - really OTT, but would have been great fun.

i forgot to add - if anybody does want to build it, I can pm you a pdf copy of the pages.

And we think we're clever! I'll have a word with my youngest, we may well be after a pdf ;) :thumb2:

Zvezda also released a SF wargame 15 or so years back, that gave the option of using certain guns either by rolling dice or shooting actual projectiles (spring-loaded) to hit your target.

Life was so must simpler then. More dangerous but simpler.

Peter, maybe I'll never build it, but as a wargame fan, I'd like to have a PDF copy of those pages too, please. :thumb2:
My mail address is already in your "conversation" box.
