Saddest day ever yesterday.We picked up our lovely Lottie The British Shorthair from cattery.We had been away for few days in Felixstowe.She had an enlarged heart but was like a little dog following me around.A little cat with a lovely personality.Sadly she passed as we rushed her to the vets.My wife and myself are heartbroken.You go over things over and over and never prepared for this day.

Truly sorry for your loss Richard. That is a pain I know only too well. She really was a great looking lady. Don’t beat yourself up over it though, it was just her time, you did nothing wrong.

Sorry for your loss, a very painful experience for pet owners, we lost our dog two months ago and miss her being around every day. We could have been selfish and just let things develop with her illness but it wouldn't have been fair and we had to take the heart breaking decision to let her go.
