I put my anorak on to go shopping, it was a bit wet-ish, what's called Mizzle here in Cornwall, a mix of mist and drizzle. But it was too close to keep the coat on so I took it off and braved it. Bought myself 5 tins of Humbrol enamel and a 00 paintbrush. went home, had lunch and then out to the garden to continue clearing weeds. All four of my water butts are now full to overflowing thanks to the rain over the past several days. I will have to make sure my electric blanket works, just in case. Winter draws on!

I do love Autumn. Especially after this ridiculously hot and long summer.

Saying that it's still quite warm her in Hertfordshire and will be sunny and 26 on Sunday apparently.

A friend phoned me this evening for a chat which included telling me her daughter and son in law had gone to France, the temp out there was 40C. I think I had less than 30C today. No wonder they've had so many fires!
