We have sold our house. Even better we have bought a new one. Just to top it all off, we bought a new car today!!!

So now the stash is packed away, the model tools and paints are packed away. All the built models are packed bar the boats and that blood great 1/24 spitfire and a few odds and sods.

So you will all be spared from suffering my efforts for a good while. Once we move I will have to get a new den set up, and that will take a while....

You will still have to suffer my presence on here as I will continue Administering the forum.

Hopefully I can get internet sorted at the new place. All be it a rather slow Wire connection..

Congrats that still looks like a fair sized man cave, enjoy the new place, and the new car. Do you have a new job at treble the pay to go with it all.

That's very nice Ian, good luck with it all!

Lee :)

good luck with the move Ian you will be up and running in no time it looks a nice location , hope you get more than wired connection sorted

New house very nice Ian.

Car come on now that is a 1/32 model :)

Now the party begins when can I get all those things done in the new house and return to model making. But very exciting a new home new area new surroundings. Loved every move we have made.

Could not believe that caption on TV. On average we all move 8 times. Thought we are not average. Then added all the moves. Guess what in 53 years 8 moves.

My next one will be the last. The golden gates or the dungeon. Pity there is nothing in between.

Funny bit is that the new house AND the car together we will still be almost £300 in pocket each month...

The reason for the new car is that we will have a bit further to drive to work, so needed a car that is less thirsty than the one we use now. The new car is given as returning 33km per litre which is pretty hard to beat!

If you are into facts and figures:

House is 216m2 the shed (man cave) is about 35m2 and the barn is 54m2 so plenty of room. The garden is a small park of 4132m2. And it is very well kept as well! So I too might be needing a new lawn mower! LOL.

Here comes the best bit...... The property is, and will continue to be a bed and Breakfast! So pocket money wont be an issue either! :-)

1km from the coast 2km from a rather large woodland/forest and a nice sandy beach!

Believe my Carina and I are so looking forward to moving in! It might also mean that I can "retire" and become self employed after a fashion.

And an exemption for model building, that lawn is a large job! Congrats on the sale and purchases Ian.
