Santa brought me a big Spitfire.

It's a bit bigger than I normally do, but I'm not complaining.

Nice one Steve.

The only thing I actually needed, asked for and received, was a pair of slipper socks! Happy Bunny.... :thumb2:

Sad or what?

I got a kit of the space shuttle atlantis, some money and yep thats right ...socks!
And as a present to myself ive ordered ijn battleship mikasa in 1/200 scale.

No kits as usual. I never get hobby stuff, mostly because I always say “don’t get me hobby stuff”. I did get a new stovetop espresso maker though. My current aluminium one won’t work on our upcoming induction hob (kitchen refurbishment starts on 5th January) and I do like my espresso in the mornings. I also got a spice grinder and a cook book.

Hmmmm, and just what will you be grinding up and cooking/baking Mr. Marlow??? Old inquiring hippie minds want to know...............
.... Dunno...
... but I'll have a couple of those wierd looking chocolate buns if you don't mind... :)

only one thing hobby related this year
Those 'Photo archives' are usually very good, though I don't have that one.

I've acquired the BoB combat diary over the last couple of years, at least as far as it goes, the latest issue covers the four days up to 15 September (BoB Day). It's very good and would be a lot of work to compile, hence the price. I could never have afforded to buy it in one go!

Didn't get any model related stuff... (like others I tell folk not to buy me kits and things.).Did get a new under armour hoodie to replace one that got splashed with bleach, a bottle of Bleu by Chanel aftershave..(the wife loves the smell), various Amazon gift cards..kerrching..tickets to visit Madame Tussauds ...haven't been there in over thirty years so I'm looking forward to that.and other bits and bobs
