Could well be in the truth, that’s got the description of Harry’s business in it, but I can’t check as I gave all my Prachetts to charity a few years ago when I needed the space. Unfortunately the Wincanton emporium didn’t reopen after covid either (it was about ten miles from me), though Wincanton was twinned with Ankh Morpork and has a treacle mine road and Peach pie street…..It's not in 'Making Money' or 'Raising Steam' - my all-time No 1 favourite book - although both Harry and Goblins feature prominently.

The recipe must be out there...That's my tentative translation of the italian "castagnaccio", a soft pie made with chestnut flour, raisin, pine nuts and olive oil. Indeed so Sir!!Well if we are on about things that have disappeared from the bakers, I’d add proper Wiltshire lardy cake. The stuff you get these days is a pale imitation. It should have layers of the toffee stuff, not just a drizzle on top.
