O.K., as we are in 'Who I've seen.' mode. Try these:-
Debbie Harris with Blondie at Connah's Quay ice rink in the early days - and all she had on was what looked like an black bin liner!


Saw Eric Clapton with Chas and Dave there too. The duo did an extra 30mins. whilst the backstage people tried to sober Clapton up. He came on eventually.....Superb!


I've seen The Rolling Stones, when Brian Jones was alive, at the Regal Cinema in Chester. They were on with Inez and Charlie Fox, and Sounds Incorporated...The admission price? 10 bob = 50p!


The Beatles, The Searchers, Kinks, Beegees, The Hollies...Seen these and more all through a haze of Watneys Red Barrel beer, when they played at The Warren, which was a club in the cellars of the Chester Theatre in City Road.

Like a lot of people who've posted I listen to all sorts really but if i had to narrow it down its a mixture of metal , punk , alternative /indie rock , dance , trance and 80's pop ! My absolute favourite has to be the smashing pumpkins . Im also a big fan of the B52's and Devo! As for.bands ive seen , the damned , the cure, the ruts , the exploited, were a few i saw when punk / new wave was current and the most recent were the brilliant Arctic monkeys a few years ago , tony

Forgot my all time faves Led Zep saw them in Dublin on their first trip after the release of first album, my god they were something i ewas about two rows from stage and i was vibrated with the power and volume. Saw Fleetwood Mac the original with Peter Green too something elser.

Love stuff like: Meatloaf; Led Zeppelin, Deep Purple, Rainbow, Lynyrd Skynyrd, ZZ Top, Status Quo, Yngwe Malmstein, Pink Floyd, Yes, Genesis,


Also listen to a lot of classical music, opera and I appear to be the only person on here who likes Jazz.

DAVE -- i like jazz in moderate doses, though it tends to be jazz - rock - Weather Report, Colosseum, etc.


My computer is in the same room as I do my modelling. Just lately I've been listening to Miles Davis on YouTube


I've also been using YouTube to Search & Surf for the various half remembered underground bands from my youth - Principle Edwards Magic Theatre, Incredible String Band, and so on; and the many & various Soft Machine /Caravan/ 'Canterbury Scene' bands & spin - offs


Problem with a thread like this, and I fall into it myself, is that it quickly becomes an exercise in name dropping and oneupmanship - 'my favourite guitarist is more obscure than your favourite guitarist.'

I don't think at all that this thread has descended into namedropping and one upmanship.


A lot of music has been mentioned that I have not heard of,so I have looked them up.


We all quite clearly listen to all types of music.
