My HMS Spiraea has stalled for the moment ( but will return ) & the Horch will be finished shortly, so my thoughts have turned to what next?
I'm enjoying the Revell ( ICM ) Horch, so I decided to stick with ICM & 1/35.
All of these were ebay bargain purchases, which gives me a nice warm feeling already
In no particular order..........................icm b liberty.jpgicm 6 wheeler.jpgicm model t fire truck.jpg
I must admit the six wheel truck is missing the printed outer sleeve, and is just in the normal anonymous white ICM inner box.
All 3 are unstarted, and I must say, that if I had the room, I'd have all 3 on the go at once!
I'm going to leave this open until the Weekend.........................
Which one would you like to see me blog? - and any particular reason?
Dave

Hi Dave
I would enjoy seeing what you can do with the WW1 Liberty lorry.
Jim

WELL Dave i think the model T as it looks a nice subject build an i havnt seen one built on here before so something new
chris

Hi Dave would like to see the liberty done at some point as I was the thinking of adding it to my stash, but on this occasion I'd say the fire truck as it's something a bit different.

Dave,
Model T for me, love the colour - I thought you could have any colour provided it was black!
Steve

I'd take on the Soviet truck if it were me, but it's quite usual for me to be completely out of step with everyone else so perhaps you should take that into account and do one of the other two.

Cheers ...

As it stands:
Fire Truck 4
Liberty 2
6 Wheeler 1

I'll leave the decision open until Saturday pm...................

Liberty Truck with three colour camo scheme. It would look awesome
Hmmm - don't think I've actually seen a photo of the Liberty in anything other than the basic colour, maybe someone can point me in the right direction?
Dave
edit - a quick bit of research finds that the series 2 never made it to France! The series 1 had electric lighting, and to simplify, it was removed for the series 2.

Hi Dave

When I did my research on my Holt 75 Artillery Tractor I found the Landships website a great help. However here is the link which will be of help to you U.S. Three tone colour scheme. If you go near to the bottom of the page you will see the pictures of the T ford. I found the scheme easy to apply to the model as the thick black line between the colours hid any mistakes. Let me know what you think.

Dave,
I built the Liberty truck a while ago it's a nice kit so would be interesting to see your take on it.

Steve,
thanks for the link - the US camo looks similar to the French - I had a go at the HobbyBoss Schneider & St Chamond a few years back.......................

The thing I had difficulty was in getting the black lines equal width! ( I seem to remember the St Chamond was a real pig - suspension/tracks - nasty! )
Dave

The good thing about the U.S black lines is that they have to be different thicknesses and create their own shapes which may well help you. Any how Dave its your build so your rules my friend. It will be an awesome build whatever you decide. Good luck sir!
