You're possibly thinking of 1/56, the 'nominal' 28mm wargaming scale? Italeri do a couple of vehicles joint released with UK wargames company Warlord
Most interesting part of this poll would be what are people doing in what scales

Armour........ 1 35 and braille scale
Planes......... 1 72 and occasional 1 144 or 1 48
Cars.......1 24
Bikes....... 1 12
Anything else is whatever scale it comes in lol
