I can't decide what I'm going to build next. One of these:
P1150049.JPG
Or this?
P1150050.JPG
Or something in 1/48 for a change:
P1150051.JPG
Any requests?

I agree Alan, beautiful, but so are some of the others!

Fernando, it's certainly different, that's why I bought it! But have you seen the canopy on that thing? A nightmare to mask.

Pete

Skyraider or boston for me pete, ive often wondered what the AMT boston/ havoc ( here in an italeri box) builds like , it always looks a lovely kit in the box cheers tony

Yes, I wonder if the nose fits better than the Revell 1/72 Boston I had with the stuff I bought from Munkster on here. (It's unlikely it could be worse)

Not a nightmare, a challenge in honing skills or finding new ways of getting the same results.:tongue-out3:

Oh and making small strips of tape are an easy way to mask the smaller windows on the greenhouse canopies.

Pete. how about building whatever is in the mystery white box showing in your first picture?

...or is it a box of toilet rolls!

Close Ron, it's a box of serviettes pinched acquired from various coffee shops!

We at Scale Models don't approve of such goings on. - Unless it's Cosford coffee stirrers! (Other suppliers are available)

It'll just have to be the Boston then... :thumb2:

Sorry but its the BV 141 for me as well, I built one of these when I was a kid so would love to see one built properly.

Oh give me a break folks, that thing has at least 77 windows! Possibly more, the framing is very indistinct.

Paul, they're all a challenge for me!
Mind, it does have some nice detail...
It also has some flash, and 'orrible seams. Oh, and decals dating from 1971.

I have an idea, write each kit on a post it note & put them on a dart board, throw a dart. Whichever you hit is the one, simple.

Right, you've talked me into it. Just ordered a mask set from Eduard - seems to have 88 masks!:astonished:

For me it would be the Hasegawa 1/72 eight wheeler in preference to wingy things :smiling:

Great choice....really interesting aircraft the BV 141. Met its design brief perfectly and only failed because it didn’t look normal so pilots were extremely wary of it.
