I have started the A10-A and I have the Eduard PE for it - but no PE bender.

I have more but really I need to get an airbrush so whatever I choose will be hairy stick only at this time which is why I am looking at the smaller ones (except the A10).

The Lightning would be done in the Tenguleh, Singapore markings as I was living in Singapore - all of 4 years old admittedly) when that was based there.

Harrier the same, I remember seeing these when I lived in Germany.

Tornado, just had this for ages :)

I vote Warthog. Any aircraft that can cut an armoured car in half with its machine cannon gets my attention..

A10 I've got the hobby boss 1/48 I'd love to build it but alas no time let's see yours instead

Looks like it will be the A10. So now my next decision, I have the Eduard PE for this but this was bought before I realised quite what is required for that - a bender and non-stubby fingers for a start! I'm tempted to not use any but it does add a lot of detail so do I buy a PE bending tool or just use that which does not need it which will add a significant amount of detail anyway. I think I will do this, use what I can without a bender and see how I get on like that.

Do I just use regular glue to put PE on or do I need a CA glue?

Niel there's no need for a bender I did a 1/350 battleship with over 200 bits of brass and I jut used a flat surface and the blade from a Stanley knife:)

You will need CA and it's best to use a gel type this won't go off so quickly giving you time to adjust your piece :)

I always use power glue Neil for PE. And those PE bender is a great investment I think. Good luck with the A-10 and keep us posted!!

Bender and Cyano Gell for me. Especially after the episode with liquid cyano.

You can manage a lot of PE with a couple of knife blades and a bit tile. (A black one is good, it's just as a hard flat surface so anything will do).

A pair of cheap hobby pliers with smooth jaws are ok as well.

As for the glue. CA will do nicely. Or you can use one of the many PVA type glues. 'Gator grip glue' is pretty good. Gives you time to work. Cleans off while wet and dries clear. You can also use it for clear plastic parts.

So bonus there.

I say go for it.

Tweezers and my hobby knife are my p.e bender, sorry I can't vote as I've no idea what any of the kits are. Well I know they are aircraft but that's as far as my knowledge goes for them. Good luck on whatever kit you do.
