Colprit stems from the first online game i ever joined which was a war 1st person shooter and i thought it was a good name at the time, now it is just an easy name to remember.

Colin

A long time ago now i did a flying scholarship in both the De Havilland Chipmonk and a glider giving me the flying part and i have a number two Scottie Dog named Archie.

My name is taken from a B17-E Flying fortress that crashed in papua new guinea in the second world war.

"Swamp Ghost"was the name coined by articles and visitors to the wreck, its not its real name.

I started out here using the name Russell BUT since about 2005 I've used my real name which is Dingo, this name was given to me by my Father who back in the 50's & 60's was a Feral hunter in Australia shootng everything from feral cats and Dogs to Camels, Roos and Dingos when I was born he naturally named me Dingo coz according to him I looked like a small dog, I've worn this title evry since and on the odd occassion my Brother calls me little dog or just plain dogboy. So that's why I use Dingo coz it's my real name.

Dingo :cool2:

Thread owner
Hi all , just thought I would give this old thread a bit of a bump, seeing as Vaughans mug shot thread has been such a runaway success, as it kind of links in with putting a face to the name (which is sometimes a bit cryptic). I first posted this a few years ago , so have a look at the opening post to get the idea (its not rocket science though!!!) cheers tony

Yo, mucker, I did mine first time round.....but here's a refresher. Spanner was the name of our first dog when the present Mrs. Ron and I married in 1970. The number is part of our telephone number.

I'll tell thee what though, I tried to get peeps to post their mugshots the same time as you did this, with very little success - then along comes the upstart Vaughan - and look what happens!!!!

There 'aint no justice.....

This will go well side by side with Vaughan's thread and nicely sew things up (intended poor pun!)

thanks for resurrecting it...

Cheers mate,

Ron

I was in the RAF and was posted out to RAF Bruggen. When I arrived and taken to my squadron barrack block the lads were watching National Lampoons Animal House. Another lad and myself were given names of characters out of it. My name is also Allyne so I'm known as flounder_al

tecdes.

My youngest son when young set up my first ever email account. Days of a Commodore 64 where you counted on fingers the memory that was being eaten into.

He took my business name of Stewart Technical Design. So he used tecdes I did not get a lookin or agree it. So it has stuck for numerous things. I now answer to tecdes amongst a few other things especially my two darn rude sons.

Mine comes from the the first kit I built when I returned to modelling, which I bought because my Dad had been an engine fitter on Mossies during his National service, a 1/48 Mosquito, and it's one of my favourite planes ever. Pilot because, well I like flying and would have liked to have been a pilot. So, I would have liked to have been a mossiepilot, and on here, I am.

Tony.

my name Mobear, comes from my love of polarbears,mo=moller and bear

Although mine looks just like a first name it does have a bit of history...For reasons too morbid to go into here, my grandfather (Danny) removed me from a dangerous home environment when I was 7...

He lived his life by common law and in fine tune with nature and naturally his ethos became my taught ethos. He also practiced and promoted the "Freeman of the land" life and gave short thrift to any

statutes created by council or government agencies that he wasnt contracted into. Ive tried to follow his lead and step one was to remove the "Mr" from my name. Im just Danny for that reason. If you type

legalese in google you will see why the Mr is so important to authority. You guys need to try, just out of curiosity, when getting a phone call asking if your Mr Jo Bloggs, saying "no" then stating your name is just Joe Bloggs....depending who has called, they cant handle that and will usually hang up.

For those wanting more info on the "Freeman" movement, again type it in google.....Just to add, my grandfather drove a car without a licence, nor road tax, although he did have insurance....his reply to being stopped and questioned over that by authorities was that he was a traveller and as such did not need them to go from A to B he refused to be called a driver....he was never once fined or had points on his licence, because it never existed... :)

Mine is the nickname i was given in the Army and the last three numbers of my army number

I have no real reason for mine sorry to be boring, i just like the name and some time after choosing it i found that it is also a make of plane.
