Tony,
in the unlikely event of the Airacobra coming first ( ahem ) - I will be doing the RAF version ( although there are 5 others to chose from! )
Dave

'Airacobra followed by the Mustang, and then the Spit to finish off a nice little trilogy of classics ..

The Eduard kit is not one of their latest - it dates back to 2000, and I think this box is at least that age! The olive green plastic looks good, but like some other Eduard models of the same age, it doesn't have any locating pins..........
What it does have is quite an extensive PE fret, film for the instruments, masks for canopy etc. , and a hefty little cast metal noseweight & a large decal sheet with 6 options for Airacobra Mk.I, P-400, P-39L & P-39N from RAF, USAAF, French AF & Soviet AF.
The ICM Spitfire & Mustang are typical ICM products, no PE, and only two marking variations for each ( all RAF ), both of these are from about the same date as the Airacobra and look much the same as the ICM Mk.XVI I'm just completing. Major difference between ICM & Eduard? - the cost! All are ebay wins, so I wouldn't have paid full prices for these!

I'm surprised by the overwhelming majority for the Airacobra- doing a search shows Lee Drennan did a Revell 1/72 version in 2019/18, then back to 2016 for an Eduard P-400 - none of which were in RAF colours. It seems that the Airacobra Mk.I is well overdue an outing under the spotlight! At least, the type had such little RAF service, that I won't have to bother with weathering!
I'm going to call this poll closed - the Airacobra it is, by a landslide. I'll start a build thread shortly - I'll probably take pictures, whilst the final varnish coat is drying on my Spitfire Mk.XVI
