The correct term is “Ausführung A”Alte
Hi Rick, this kit has the engine included so I'm going to detail that a bit, but otherwise OOB. I'm really wanting to move on to the painting finishing stage. I love the assembly aspect immensely but tend to get hung up prior to getting much painting done.Nice beginning Ron.....oob or do you have something up your sleeve?![]()
Yep, ya got me there Jakko. Dragon had identified thiis accurately on the kit box, my mistake then. The correct term is “Ausführung A” :smiling3: For some reason, publications a long time ago started calling the Ausf. A alt (“old”) and the Ausf. B, neu (“new”) but the actual German designations were simply in line with how they designated production variants/improvements of other vehicle types.
The model looks good, better than the old Tamiya kit even though that wasn’t bad in itself, certainly not for its time.
That's looking the business RonTook today off from work, started this Dragon Sdkfz. 250/7 Alte . (Mortar carrier)
The front resin wheels are Panzer Art , I believe, had them loose in the parts box.
Lol, Thank You Andy. Bourbon... hmmmmmm..... . Sigh, not just yetThat's looking the business Ron :smiling3:
Lovely kit judging by the pics.... Any Bourbon involved in the assembly so far ?!

Hiya Paul, yup these little guys do have that certain panache !Love the "baby tigers", who seemed to punch above their weight class.

I will start the cue with Silver Machine, Tim lolValium ten? Sonic attack? Enquiring minds want to know Ron…..
Er, no Paul…..Silver machine has a certain Ian Kilminster on vocals……Hawkwind are a blue print for his later band. Satriani is a virtuoso guitarist, but unfortunately I find him rather dull…..Is that anything like Surfing with the Alien (Silver Surfer) by Joe Satriani?
If you don’t have it, run, don’t walk, to the store and buy Space Ritual live. It’s far and away thier best album :thumb2:I will start the cue with Silver Machine, Tim lol
